Ghana international Osman Bukari has commenced pre-season training with his new club FK Crvena Zvezda ahead of the start of the 2022/23 season.

The 23-year-old winger joined the Belgrade-based club from Belgian side KAA Gent in a deal worth €2 million.

In a post on Twitter, Bukari was sighted training with his new teammates as he was put through his pace by manager Dejan Stankovic and his technical team.

Stankovic, who played for Inter Milan between 2004 and 2013, is keen on making a big impression in the UEFA Champions League next season.

The Serbian tactician sees the Black Stars player Bukari as a key part of his plans to conquer the top clubs in Europe.

Osman spent last season on loan with French Ligue 1 side, FC Nantes, notching two goals and registering four assists in 26 matches in all competitions.

The former Accra Lions wideman was a member of the Black Stars squad that eliminated Nigeria from the 2022 FIFA World Cup final play-off round to book a ticket to the biggest stage in world football slated for November to December this year in Qatar.

He scored his debut goal for Ghana earlier this month against Madagascar in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Bukari has been capped five times for the senior national team of Ghana with a goal to his credit.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana international Osman Bukari has completed his move to Serbian powerhouse FK Crvena zvezda, commonly known as Red Star Belgrade, on a four-year deal.

The 23-year-old winger joined the Belgrade-based club from Belgian side KAA Gent in a deal worth €2 million, according to footballghana.
