English-born Ghanaian-Swiss footballer, Kwadwo Baah, has joined German Bundesliga 2 outfit FC Nurnberg in the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old signed a long-term deal with the club after leaving Swiss topflight side St Gallen.

FC Nurnberg confirmed the arrival of the prolific striker on their official website, with the attacker set to start pre-season on Sunday.

"The club has a new striker. Shortly before the start of the training camp (from June 26th to July 3rd in Natz/Schabs) a new face appeared at the Valznerweiher today. The sporting director of 1. FC Nürnberg has signed Kwadwo Duah from the Swiss Super League after he successfully passed his medical check and provided him with a long-term contract," wrote the club.

Kwadwo Duah netted 15 goals and provided four assists as St Gallen reached the Swiss Cup final last season.

“The club has been trying hard for me for a year. I had the best feeling here, that's why I chose the club. I'm looking forward to the fans, to the stadium and to scoring goals here," Duah told the club's website.

The powerful forward was born to Ghanaian parents in London and was raised in Switzerland, but remains eligible to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.

Kwadwo Duah rejects Black Stars invite for Nigeria clash

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that English-born Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Duah has reportedly turned down an approach by the Ghana Football Association to have him named in the Black Stars squad against Nigeria in the World Cup playoff, it has emerged.

According to GhanaSoccernet, the St. Gallen attacker has made himself unavailable for the Black Stars' encounter against the Super Eagles despite not suffering from any injury.

Duah was born in London to Ghanaian parents and moved to Switzerland at a younger age, meaning he is eligible to play for Ghana, England and Switzerland. Read more:
