"Inaki Williams coming home with Nico tonight. Then one or two meetings. Then that Black Stars conversation will get really interesting. My guess is at least one Williams could become a Black Star after the holidays," Oti Adjei wrote on Twitter.

The Williams brothers have been on the radar of the Ghana Football Association, who are beefing the Black Stars squad ahead of the World Cup in Qatar.

Even though both players were born in Spain, their parents are from Ghana, making them eligible to play for the Black Stars.

Inaki Williams gives hint of a possible nationality switch

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Spanish-born centre-forward Iñaki Williams has just whet the appetite of Ghanaian football lovers following his reaction to Ghana's draw in the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The 27-year-old forward is one of many Ghanaians born in the diaspora being pursued by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to switch allegiance to the West African nation.

Following Ghana's qualification to its fourth World Cup, football enthusiasts have prayed on the GFA to go all out in the pursuit of Ghanaians with dual citizenship in order to beef up the Black Stars team.

Father of Inaki Williams has confirmed talks between the player and the GFA

Inaki Williams has reportedly held talks with the Ghana Football Association over the possibility of switching his national allegiance to Ghana.

The Athletic Bilbao forward has been a long-term target for the Black Stars who are interested in luring him away from Spain.

However, Ghana FA’s efforts over the years have so far been futile, with the 28-year-old rejecting every approach from the West African country.
