Black Stars defender Abdul Mumin Suleman is attracting interest from former French league champions AS Monaco and Lille.

The 23-year-old is reportedly on the radar of the French giants, who are ready to price him away from the Portuguese side Vitória Sport Clube.

According to Portuguese news portal A Bola, the Ghanaian defender valued at 6 million Euros could leave in the transfer window to join either Monaco or Lille.

Abdul Mumin Suleman has been in top form for Vitoria Guimaraes in the Primera Liga, helping them finish fifth at the end of the season.

However, his future in Portugal remains uncertain as several clubs keep tabs on the player with the summer transfer window set to open in June.

AS Monaco and Lille want to strengthen their defence ahead of next season after both clubs finish the campaign without a trophy.

The Right to Dream Academy Graduate has two more years left on his current deal with the Portuguese outfit, but the club is ready to cash in on the player.

Abdul Mumin made 26 Primeira Liga appearance for Vitoria Guimaraes this season. He joined the club in the summer of 2020 from Danish club FC Nordsjaelland.

The young centre-back was part of Ghana's squad at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon early this year and was also a member of the team that helped the Black Stars qualify for the World Cup in Qatar.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Mohammed Salisu has emerged as one of the candidates for a potential move to Barcelona in the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old, who is enjoying a breakthrough campaign in England with Southampton, is one of the five players shortlisted by Barcelona as targets in the window.

According to Tribal Football, Salisu joins Manchester City's Aymeric Laporte, Jules Kounde of Sevilla, Villareal's Pau Torres and Matthijs De Ligt of Juventus as defenders being considered by the Catalan giants.
