Black Stars center-back, Alexander Djiku has revealed his readiness for the second leg of the World Cup play-offs against Nigeria in Abuja.

The Strasbourg defender was one of Ghana's top performers in the first leg in Kumasi, keeping Napoli star Victor Osimhen completely out of the game as the match ended in a goalless stalemate.

With another 90 minutes to go for one of the team's to qualify for the World Cup, Djiku took to Twitter to state he is poised for the second leg in Abuja.

"We do it again Tuesday," he wrote a Twitter with a symbol of shield, which represents what he does for the Black Stars defence.

The Black Stars will leave Ghana for Abuja on Monday, and will train at the Mashood Abiola stadium on the same day before Tuesday's game.

CAF approves 60,000 fans at the Mashood Abiola stadium

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the Confederation of African Football has given approval for 60,000 fans to be allowed to watch the second leg of the World Cup play-off between Ghana and Nigeria at the Mashood Abiola stadium in Abuja.

Africa's football governing body had earlier agreed for only 30,000 fans to be admitted at the stadium but according to Ghanasoccernet.com, CAF approved NFF's request for full capacity stadium.

Nigeria will host the Black Stars on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the Mashood Abiola stadium in the World Cup play-off decider between the two countries.

Michael Essien urges Ghana to beat Nigeria

Former Ghana international Michael Essien has sent a heartfelt message to the Black Stars ahead of Nigeria games in the World Cup qualifiers.

Ghana and the Super Eagles will cross swords for one of Africa's five spots in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The first leg took place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday, 25 March. Meanwhile, the reverse fixture will be held at the Mashood Abiola Stadium in Abuja four days' later.
