English-born Ghanaian forward, Antoine Semenyo, could leave Bristol City to join Premier League club West Ham in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old striker has attracted interest from David Moyes' side following his blistering season for his club in the English Championship, scoring six goals and making seven assists in just 21 appearances this season.

According to a report by the Mirror, the Hammers have shown interest in Semenyo as they see him a perfect replacement for Jarrod Bowen who is close to joining Liverpool in the Summer.

With West Ham failing to bring in new players in the winter, Semenyo is seen as the main man to support Michail Antonio up front next season.

The London club are prepared to offer a fee in the region of £15 million for the striker who is also on the radar of Scottish giants Celtic.

Still in the budding stages of his career, his playing style has already prompted fans to draw comparisons with Drogba and Henry.

Semenyo is a huge fan of the Arsenal talisman and Chelsea icon Drogba when he was growing up, and says he draws inspiration from the two legends of the game.

Antoine Semenyo Nets 6th Goal of the Season

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Antoine Semenyo has extended his impressive scoring run in the English Championship after netting his sixth goal of the season for Bristol City.

The 22-year-old was on the score sheet as his side defeated Middlesbrough 2-1 at the Ashton Gate stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Semenyo scored Bristol City's second goal in the 68th minute before the away side got a late consolation through Matt Crooks.
