The Black Stars will hosts Nigeria in Accra on March 24, before the return leg in Abuja three days later.

Sports Brief has gathered some of the reactions from Ghanaians:

Patrick Osei-Agyemang said, "Ghana FA! Otto Addo is not the man for Black Stars at this moment! More fireee."
"The GFA and lies..they have made the whole nation believe Otto Addo is the Assistant Coach of Dortmund..which is a lie.why do u want to even choose Otto Addo over a season Coach in the calibre of a season EPL manager.there is no football reasons for not appointing Chris Hughton," Kwesi York added.
Isaac Opele wrote, "The first thing I want Otto Addo to do is to cancel this Philomon Baffour name from the template Black Stars squad list. He should prove himself at where he plays first to get a call up. I am tired of that name appearing with insults. Enough of the unnecessary insults."
Dannis Mirpuri added, "GFA is trying to tell us Otto Addo who hasn't been Head Coach of any team before is ahead of experienced CAF Technical Instructor Didi Dramani, who won 2 #GPL titles and an #MTNFACup with Kotoko and led Black Maidens to a bronze medal feat at U-17 Women's World Cup in 2012."
Michael Oti Adjei wrote, "The Ghana Football Association has put together a 3 man technical team to manage Ghana's World Cup qualifiers led by Otto Addo and including George Boateng And Didi Dramani. Is Otto leaving Dortmund or he would handle these games part time? And how about George Boateng?."
