'’The scan results revealed Oedema in his hamstring and so at the moment he can’t play against Comoros on Tuesday,’’ Doctor Adam Baba told ghanafa.org.

Baba Iddrisu has been a key member of the Black Stars at the Nations Cup tournament currently on going in Cameroon.

And his absence will be a big blow for coach Milovan Rajevac, who would have to look at other options for the match today.

Mubarak Wakaso, who plays in the same position is yet to pass fitness, after missing the first two games.

Sheriff Tiraspol star Edmund Addo is likely to partner Arsenal's Thomas Partey in midfield.

The Black Stars need to beat Comoros Island by at least two goals to stand a chance of finishing as one of the third best placed teams.
