Teen sensation, Kamaldeen Sulemana has finally joined the Black Stars camp just hours before the start of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

The Stade Rennes winger has been in isolation for the past few days following a contact tracing after his teammate and Senegal international Alfred Gomis tested positive of COVID-19.

In a photo posted on Twitter, sighted by SportsBrief.com, the player was met by former Ghana defender Samuel Osei Kuffuor, who is team manager of the Black Stars.

The talented forward's arrival is huge boost for Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac as the Black Stars prepare for the opener against Morocco on Monday, January 10, 2021.

Sulemana is one of the players expected to shine at the Nations Cup following his splendid performances in the French Ligue 1.

The former FC Nordsjaelland star has been rated one of the best dribblers in the French Ligue 1 ahead of Lionel Messi.

He was also voted Player of the Month for October last year after dazzling in the colours of Rennes.

However, he is yet to replicate that form in the jersey of the Black Stars.

Ghana have been drawn in Group C alongside Morocco, Gabon and the Comoros Island.

The West African giants are hoping to end a 40-year wait for the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Ghana arrive in Cameroon for AFCON 2021

Earlier, SportsBrief.com reported that, the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars, have touched down in the Cameroonian capital Yaoundé ahead of the 33rd edition of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The team lead by Andre Ayew immediately went to their hotel as preparations continue ahead of their Group C opener against Morocco on Monday, January 10, 2021.

In photos posted on Twitter, the contingent were without Kamaldeen Sulemana, Philemon Baffuor and Mohammed Kudus.
