Anderlecht and Ghana midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru has met one of his music icons, Popcaan, while on vacation in Accra during the winter break.

The Anderlecht star could not hold his excitement as he shared the moment on Social Media, with the slogan 'Unruly'.

Popcaan, whose real name is Andre Hugh Sutherland has been in Ghana for the holidays.

Majeed Ashimeru will be returning to Belgium in the coming days to continue his football career, having had a good start to the season.

The 24-year-old has scored two goals in 21 matches for Anderlecht this season.

However, he missed coach Milovan Rajevac's 28-man squad for AFCON 2021 in Cameroon this month.

Ashimeru has also spent time doing some philanthropic works.

Majeed Ashimeru donates football boots and sports kits to young footballers

Earlier, SportsBrief.com reported that, Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru showed love to the community he grew up after donating football boots and kits to aspiring footballers.

The Anderlecht star is in Ghana for the winter break and took time to meet the young footballers, as he inspired them to pursue their dreams.

In a post on Facebook, the 24-year-old expressed delight in giving back to society and hopes the young players realize their dreams.

SportsBrief.com also reported that, Black Stars midfielder, Majeed Ashimeru, has made donations to the Maamobi General Hospital in Accra to mark his 24th birthday celebrations.

The Anderlecht star turned 24 on October 10, 2021, and as part of activities to mark his new age, he paid the hospital bills of some of the patients and donated to the maternity ward.

Ashimeru, who is with the Black Stars in Zimbabwe for the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, posted on Twitter photos of his his benevolent work.
