Per a report on London World by Rahman Osman, Crystal Palace have 'triggered Ayew’s one-year extension at the club’.

The Eagles are planning this proactive approach given that Ayew's contract will expire in 2023.

And according to GhanaBallers, Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira wants Ayew to stay as he is satisfied with versatility and overall work rate.

Jordan Ayew made 33 appearances, scoring three goals and providing three assists in the English Premier League last season.

Despite not adding many goals to his game, Ayew’s influence in the Crystal Palace team cannot be overlooked.

He played a key role as Palace run to the semi final stage of the 2022 FA Cup, losing to 2-0 to Chelsea at Wembley.

Jordan Ayew Breaks Unwanted Record in the Premier League

Sports Brief earlier reported that Jordan Ayew netted his first Premier League away goal for Crystal Palace FC at the Goodison Park since June 2020.

The Black Stars striker has not scored away from Selhurst Park in over two years.

On a long scoring drought running from the 2019/20 season, Ayew found the back of a net with a close-range effort in their 3-2 defeat to Everton.
