Rudiger will be out of contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of the ongoing season but is yet to renew his deal.

The German's contract situation has seen him court interest from a number of European clubs, with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, and Bayern Munich leading the hunt for his services.

Parker, who spent five years at Old Trafford has now urged United to launch a move of their own for the centre-back.

Parker contends a potential partnership between Rudiger and Raphael Varane at United's heart of defence could help the Red Devils challenge for the title again.

“To come to Manchester United, I would say that is ambitious. I would understand why he would want to and I think he would make a difference," the ex-England ace told bettingexpert.
“If you had him next to Varane, what a difference you’re talking about. Good pace and you’re talking about someone who’s won a World Cup, Champions League, and then you’ve got a centre-half, who in the old-school way of talking is actually a leader," he added.

Jules Kounde close to Chelsea move

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Thomas Tuchel has been handed a significant transfer boost after long-term target Jules Kounde reportedly agreeing to join the Blues in January.

The Stamford Bridge dwellers made a move for Kounde during the summer transfer window but were unable to agree a deal with Sevilla who were demanding £68.5million.

The defender is believed to have been left fuming after the move fell through but remains keen to join the European champions.

According to journalist Duncan Castles on The Transfer Window Podcast, Kounde is looking to complete a switch to the west London club as early as January as he has already agreed terms.
