The Italian tactician is now set to succeed fellow countryman Massimiliano Allegri who left the Turin-based side at the end of last season.

Sarri managed to steer Chelsea to a third-place finish in the Premier League before winning them the Europa League title after defeating Arsenal in the finals.

Despite his arguably impressive debut as manager in the Premier League, the 60-year-old failed to win over Chelsea's support base which often criticised his style of play.

Sarri shifted N'Golo Kante from his role at the heart of the Blues' midfield, replacing him Jorginho who joined him at the west London club from Napoli In one of the key changes Sarri effected at the club.

However, after spending just a season in the EPL, Sarri is once again ready to take Jorginho with him to Juventus to help implement his style of play with the Italian champions.

According to a UK Metro report citing The Times, Emerson Palmieri is the other Chelsea player that Sarri is keen to have at Juve.

Be that as it may, it remains to be seen if Chelsea would be ready to offload two of their senior squad members this summer amid a looming two-window transfer ban.
