According to Metro UK, Chelsea, who have endured a frustrating Premier League campaign, set up a crunch last-eight clash against the reigning Champions League winners after seeing off Borussia Dortmund in the round of 16.

Madrid, meanwhile, demolished last season's finalists, Liverpool, in the knockout to reach the quarterfinals.

Chelsea's quarter-final clash against Real Madrid will be a repeat of last season's meeting at the same stage of the competition.

The La Liga giants secured a 6-2 aggregate win over the Blues during the meeting as they went on to be crowned champions.

Sergio Aguero's prediction

Aguero has now backed Real Madrid to see off the Premier League giants once again when they lock horns later in April.

"I can’t just ignore the past and present of Real Madrid – they are the likely winners of this tie," Aguero told Stake.
"Granted, Madrid is tried and true in these kinds of matches. Their history – and recent showings – prove as much. They’ll be the toughest of oppositions," he continued.

Real Madrid will host Chelsea in the first leg on April 12 at Santiago Bernabeu, with the return leg scheduled a week later at Stamford Bridge.

Aguero fires warning to Arsenal

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Sergio Aguero has warned Arsenal about Manchester City as the Premier League title race takes shape.

Arsenal has a significant edge over title challengers Man City, with the season entering its homestretch.

Mikel Arteta's men are currently sitting on the summit of the standings with 69 points, eight ahead of second-placed City.
