Fans wants Chelsea investigation

A petition has now been launched online for Chelsea to be probed after their massive spending spree.

The Sun reports that more than 1,000 people have already signed the written request, with another 500 making it more likely to get picked up.

"Chelsea Football Club continues to spend unlimited funds on transfers without punishment, why?" the petition said in part.
"The UEFA fair play rules and regulations must be adhered to strictly by every club," the petition demanded.

Meanwhile, despite Chelsea's continued spending, they are still struggling for results in the Premier League, with the Graham Potter-tutored side currently sitting 10th in the standings.

The Blues will be back in action on February 3, when they take on London rivals, Fulham at Stamford Bridge.

Rival fans mock Jorginho

Sports Brief earlier reported on rival fans mocking Jorginho, after he completed his shock move to Arsenal from Chelsea on Tuesday afternoon.

An old video of referee, Michael Oliver outrunning the midfielder in 2019 resurfaced and fans laughed at the speed of the player now signed to the Gunners.

Jorginho is not exactly the fastest midfielder, but is possibly one of the most intelligent with a good ability to read the game and react with quick and decisive passes.
