  • Premier League side Chelsea have been advised to go for the signing of Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman
  • The Atalanta star has been in brilliant form this season for his club netting 12 Serie A goals so far
  • Biffo who last season qualified Kwara United for Continental explained that Lookman could be the answer for the Blues

Former Kwara United coach Abdullahi Biffo has urged those in charge of Premier League side, Chelsea, to do all their best to sign Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman.

Lookman is currently the man of the moment in the Serie A as the Nigerian keeps firing goals in all cylinders for Atalanta as he recently registered his 12th goal of the term.

Chelsea on the other hand have not been having their campaign rosy this season in the topflight and fans are afraid that they might not finish among the top four at the end of the season.

What are they saying?

Sports Brief spoke with Biffo who is currently in the US, and the experienced gaffer claimed that Lookman can help the Blues upfront if they can sign him.

Statement made by Biffo

''They might not get him this month if they want him, but I will advice them to do everything possible to sign Lookman because he is a player who will give them goals.
''And when you look at Chelsea, what they need now is just getting the goals.''

Mourinho reportedly eyeing Chelsea return

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Portuguese legendary boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing a sensational return to Stamford Bridge with Chelsea.

Mourinho is currently plying his trade in the Serie A at AS Roma, a club he joined in the summer of 2021 after he was sacked at Tottenham Hotspur.

The ex-Premier League manager is unhappy at Roma and wants a return to the English top flight.

The publication claims that Mourinho feels that the Italian giants are not backing him financially despite leading them to glory in the Europa Conference League last season.
