  • Sunday Oliseh believes Chelsea's situation will improve with N'Golo Kante back
  • The France international has been out of action for the Blues since last October
  • Chelsea have struggled in the Premier League and are a lowly 10th on the table

Former Super Eagles gaffer, Sunday Oliseh has stated emphatically that the return of French midfielder, N'Golo Kante will be of great help to Chelsea this season in the Premier League.

Despite not having Kante in the French squad, Didier Deschamps and his wards reached the final of the tournament in Qatar, before losing against Argentina in what was a challenging battle.

When is Kante returning?

Chelsea confirmed that the midfielder would be out for four months, which means that Blues faithful should be expecting their man back anytime soon.

Businessman, Frank Khalid tweeted about missing Kante in the current squad, with Oliseh replying to his tweet.

The Nigerian football legend expressed belief that things would change for the better for Chelsea when the Frenchman returned from injury.

The statement made by Oliseh:

''Should Ngolo Kante come back fully fit, Chelsea could fight for European football next season! That's how great I rate this player. One of a kind.''

Nigerian sports reporter, Kingsley Koyero also backed Oliseh, saying that Kante is one of the best midfielders in the world.

Koyero's statement on Kante

''Although I am not a Chelsea fan, but we all know what he can do on the pitch, as he has the command in that midfield and things would surely change when he's fit to play.''

Boehly urged to sign Osimhen

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on a Nigerian football fan urging Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen to join Chelsea instead of Premier League rivals, Manchester United.

There has been serious speculation over the future of the star at the Naples club, with the Red Devils said to be very keen on signing him up at Old Trafford.

So far this season in the Italian Serie A, Osimhen has been the king of goals after netting 14 times to lead the league's goalscoring chart.
