This will come as a big relief for head coach Graham Potter, as reported by Evening Standard.

Mudryk trains with James and Chilwell

According to Football Daily, new signing Mudryk joined his new Chelsea teammates at the club's training complex in Cobham, Surrey, London on January 18.

He participated in drills and ball work as he began to acclimatise to his new environment. Also training was loan signing, João Felix who was red-carded on his debut in the 2-1 loss to London neighbours, Fulham.

Potter will also be boosted by the return of James and Chilwell, who are now back in full team training, although they could be days away from playing a game.

Edouard Mendy, Raheem Sterling and Wesley Fofana are nearing their respective returns, while Ngolo Kante, Armando Broja and Christian Pulisic are long-term absentees.

Joao Felix meets Reece James

Sports Brief earlier reported that Chelsea loan signing, Felix met Reece James in London long before he made the move to England from Atletico Madrid.

The 23-year-old will have to wait until February 11 before he has an opportunity to play with James, but the two can start learning about each other after the England star resumed training.

The quartet of James, Felix, Chilwell and Mudryk will have a key role to play in Chelsea's season, and their performances are expected to define the fate of coach Potter.
