According to Ghanasoccernet.com, the Ghana Football Association have listed the former Chelsea manager with five other coaches for the Black Stars role.

Ex-Brighton manager Chris Hughton and former Aston Villa player George Boateng alongside Serbia coach Dragan Stojkovic are all on the list of coaches being considered.

Tuchel has been unattached since his sacking from Chelsea at the start of the current season. The former Dortmund and PSG boss is believed to be assessing his next move.

The Black Stars endured a difficult tournament in Qatar, exiting the World Cup at the group stage after two defeats and one win.

With the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers set to resume next year, the FA led by Kurt Okraku are in a hunt for a new coach.

The Black Stars have enrolled several Europe-born players in the team as part of plans to strengthen their team for the next AFCON tournament.

Ghana has not won the competition since 1982.
