The report added that Pep Guardiola was so impressed with James Reece performance for Chelsea in the Champions League final which they beat Manchester City.

James' versatility in that he can play in central defence as well as midfield is also a boost to the Premier League champions.

Earlier, Legit,ng had reported how England international Tammy Abraham is now on the verge of leaving reigning European champions Chelsea this summer with Aston Villa said to be interested in his signature.

This latest development comes after the Stamford Bridge landlords told Tammy Abraham that he is free to leave the Premier League side this summer.

That has opened the door for Villa boss Dean Smith under whom Abraham had a successful loan spell three seasons ago.

Abraham’s goals helped Villa win promotion back to the Premier League via the Championship play-off final and his return would be welcomed with open arms by supporters.

Legit.ng also explained how Chelsea forward Olivier Giroud looks set to dump the Blues this summer after reportedly agreeing a deal to join AC Milan.

The Frenchman already signed a contract extension to keep him at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2022.

However, he could turn his back on the club he joined in the winter of 2018 for a new adventure in Serie A and also reunite with former teammate Fikayo Tomori.

Reports reveal that the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner has already agreed to a two-year contract with AC Milan worth £3 million a year plus bonuses.
