Boehly clear out at Stamford Bridge continues with Laurent the latest casualty of the American's ruthless restructuring of Stamford Bridge, according to the Daily Mail.

The Frenchman was an experienced medical staff member, having worked at France’s national football centre Clairefontaine for 15 years before moving to London in 2005.

Laurent's valuable experience

Laurent was France’s physio at the 1996 Olympics. He also had spells with the team between 1997 and 2005 and 2012 to 2014.

However, Laurent only became head physio for Chelsea in 2014. He oversaw the academy and the women's team.

The new owner ordered a 100-day review at the club, with manager Thomas Tuchel becoming the first casualty after he was sacked just seven games into the new season. The club's head of international scouting and head of communications have left Stamford Bridge.

Boehly proposes American-style Premier League All-Star game

Sports Brief earlier reported on Todd Boehly proposing a revolutionary Premier League All-Star idea earlier this month.

The North vs South All-Star idea received strong resistance from fans and pundits but was also welcomed by others in the football world.

Boehly wants the Premier League to introduce the American-style All-Star game to boost revenue and help raise more finances for the English football pyramid.
