Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku reportedly has no intention of returning to Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku is currently on loan with Inter Milan, having rejoined the Italian giants in the summer - a year after he dumped them to move to Stamford Bridge.

The Belgian ace endured a miserable spell in the first season of his second spell with the Blues, failing to replicate his stunning form when he was at Inter.

Inter Milan keen to keep Romelu Lukaku

While Inter have no option to make Lukaku's stay with them permanent in the current arrangement, reports in Italy claim the Serie A giants will be keen to extend his stay.

It is believed that Nerazzurri are in talks with Chelsea to re-sign the Belgium international on loan at the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

According to Metro UK, Lukaku equally has no desire to reunite with the west Londoners once his deal with Inter ends.

The former Man United striker recently opened up about his disastrous stint with Chelsea, admitting that it did not go according to plan.

"I think in one year everyone has forgotten about the things I am capable of doing on the pitch," Lukaku said in August.
"I had the opportunity to go back [to Chelsea] and thought I would be a hero, but that wasn’t the case," he added.

Romelu Lukaku posts cryptic messages after leaving Chelsea

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Romelu Lukaku once again posted another mysterious message after scoring for Inter Milan.

Lukaku needed just 81 seconds to score for his new side on his second debut, after a disappointing spell at Chelsea.

The Belgian left Milan last summer for Chelsea, looking to carry his prolific form to London. He penned a five-year contract at Chelsea in a club-record fee.
