At that point, Arsenal thought they had seen the back of the striker, but he made a sensational return after spending one season at Turkish club Galatasaray.

Football fans across the world are in love with Drogba following his achievements on and off the pitch, and a young Arsenal fan tricked the superstar into getting his autograph.

The young Gooner asked the former player to sign his shirt, and just after the Ivorian did the needful, the younger whipped off the jersey to reveal an Arsenal shirt underneath.

Drogba’s reaction was priceless, he said:

As the young boy creased up laughing, Drogba said: “Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! How can you do that?!”

Interestingly, Drogba revealed during his career that he grew up supporting Arsenal.

He was quoted as saying by FourFourTwo in 2009:

“I like to play against Arsenal because they used to be the team people supported in France because of all the French players there, so I was supporting them as well.”

Bailly accuses Man Utd of favouritism

Sports Brief earlier reported that Eric Bailly has blamed favouritism for his struggles at English giants Manchester United.

The 28-year-old joined Olympique Marseille in the summer transfer window on a season-long loan following difficulties in getting regular playtime.

However, ahead of Marseille's UEFA Champions League clash against Tottenham, the Ivorian centre-back accused Manchester United of favouring English players.
