The Ecuador international has enjoyed a superb start to the season and has played a central role in Brighton's fine run of results which has them occupying fourth place on the Premier League standings.

However, his future at the Amex Stadium is in huge doubt, especially after Graham Potter's departure, whom he has been tipped to reunite with at Stamford Bridge.

Moises Caicedo speaks on joining Chelsea

And the Ecuadorian has not hidden his desire to link up with Potter at Chelsea, with the youngster admitting he would find it impossible to turn down a move to the west London club.

"I think they [Chelsea] are one of the best teams in the world and nobody would turn down an offer from Chelsea or any other club like that. It’d be a dream to be in the best teams in the world and succeed there," Caicedo said.

Speaking to Argentine outlet Ole, the 20-year-old further conceded that he was disappointed to see Potter leave Brighton.

"It made me very sad now that he left for Chelsea because he helped me a lot and I wanted to continue having him as a manager, but that’s football," the Brighton ace added.

Fans react after Graham Potter's first game as Chelsea boss

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Chelsea fans had a first glimpse of their new manager Graham Potter following his appointment as coach of the club.

Potter, who replaced fan-favourite Thomas Tuchel as head coach of Chelsea last week, saw his side play out a 1-1 draw with RB Salzburg on his debut game as Blues boss.

This was the 47-year-old ex-Brighton boss' first game in the Champions League as manager after admitting he had never attended a game in Europe's premier club competition before.
