  • Pulisic is desperate for regular first-team action after seeing his opportunities get limited under Thomas Tuchel
  • A move to Man United will be a massive boost for the Red Devils, who are desperate to bolster their attack

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is reportedly keen to join rivals Manchester United this summer.

The American international has seen his fortunes at Stamford Bridge fall in recent weeks following the arrival of Raheem Sterling.

According to Metro UK, Pulisic has largely failed to live up to his billing since joining Chelsea three years ago from Borussia Dortmund, with injuries hampering his progress.

The publication adds that Tuchel’s implementation of a wing-back system has also seen Pulisic denied regular playing time.

Christian Pulisic open to Man United move

Reports now suggest that Pulisic is open to sealing a sensational summer move to Man United on loan.

The Athletic claims that the 23-year-old is keen on regular first-team action, especially with the 2022 World Cup on the horizon.

The development comes at a time United are in dire need of a prolific forward to strengthen Erik ten Hag's attackline.

It is understood that the pursuit of a new striker has increasingly become chaotic and complicated by the uncertainty surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at the Theatre of Dreams.

United's failings in the attack came to the fore after the start of the new season, with a Red Devils' player yet to find the back of the net after two matches.

Thomas Tuchel flexes his biceps after clash with Antonio Conte

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Thomas Tuchel jokingly flexed his biceps following Chelsea's intriguing 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.

The Chelsea manager and his opposite number, Antonio Conte, clashed in a heated row during and after the London derby on Sunday, August 14.

Both Tuchel and Conte had a perfect start to the 2022-23 campaign, recording wins over Everton and Southampton, respectively, on the opening weekend ahead of Sunday's fixture.

Tuchel delivered a wholesome moment at his post-match presser, with the German tactician aiming a dig at referee Anthony Taylor while insisting his side deserved the win.
