And this came to the fore back in September 2019 after he surprised a Chelsea fan by turning up at his daughter's wedding.
According to The Evening Standard, the French World Cup-winning star had initially declined the fan's invite to grace the occasion.

But as fate would have it, Kante eventually made time for the wedding after he pulled out of the France national team squad.
According to the Daily Mail, the midfielder had picked an injury against Sheffield United days earlier, leaving him with no choice but to forgo the French duty.
Khalid later took to social media to express his delight at seeing Kante show up at his daughter's wedding.
"Was really great to see @nglkante mingling with my guests at my daughter's wedding. He must have been asked for a million selfies, and he happily obliged every person that was at the wedding," he posted.
"Here’s an example of Ngolo Kante's kindness to everyone yesterday. Made everyone happy & made my daughter's wedding even more special," he added.
Why Petr Cech quit Chelsea

Cech is said to have felt isolated after he was ignored in key transfer decisions, including that of Romelu Lukaku.
The legendary goalkeeper spent a total of 14 years with the Blues, with 11 of those coming as a player.
