Thomas Tuchel has been accused by FC Porto boss Sergio Conceicao of using foul language shortly after the final whistle in the Champions League quarter-final clash against Chelsea, Daily Mail.

In return, the Premier League club have claimed that the allegation about the German tactician is nonsense.

Both managers had a fist-bumped at full time but Tuchel did not have many words to say to his counterpart, instead he congratulated his players for a job well done.

On the other hand, Conceicao claimed that he had been insulted but did not give details of what Tuchel said to him.

"I was insulted by this man who is next door.
"I told the referee that the fourth referee heard the insults.

"My English is not perfect, there is no point in talking about it. There was no exchange of words because I was focused on the game, I don't know why he reacted.
"But I didn't understand it very well. I heard some insults, but it's gone ... it's not pretty and my irritation in the end had to do with it. I didn't even speak to him."

However Portuguese publication Record claimed Tuchel was telling Conceicao to 'f*** off' after the referee blew the full-time whistle.

A Chelsea spokesperson responded to the claims:

"This allegation is complete nonsense."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Chelsea vs FC Porto second leg meeting on Tuesday, April 13, was not short of drama, with Thomas Tuchel clashing with his counterpart, Sergio Conceicao, moments after the Blues progressed to the Champions League semis.

The west Londoners stunned the Portuguese giants 2-1 on goal aggregate to confirm their place in the last four of the European competition.

Unlike their sublime performance that saw them beat Porto 2-0, Chelsea staged a somewhat lacklustre performance in the return leg, with their visitors eventually punishing them at the death.
