Tension at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea star set to leave London club after seven years

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Chelsea is set to lose Charly Musonda for free as the Belgian contract with the Blues expires at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old has made just seven first-team appearances since joining Chelsea back in 2012 as a teenager.

Musonda revealed that he will become a free agent and leave the club once his contract expires at the end of the season.

The former Anderlecht wonderkid has been plagued by fitness issues after spending two years on the sidelines through injury.

Musonda suffered horrific cruciate ligament damage while on loan with doctors only giving him a 20 percent chance of playing again.

Italian side, Roma is believed to be interested in bringing the 25-year-old to the Serie A as Jose Mourinho plans to reunite with the forward.
