Nick Candy who is a British property developer has reportedly appeared to be working on submitting massive £2.5billion bid to buy Premier League giants Chelsea this week.

It is no longer news that outgoing owner Roman Abramovich wants to sell the club due to Russia's invasion on Ukraine which has claimed lives of many people.

The conflict is still ongoing between these two nations and Roman Abramovich has been attacked due to the fact that the billionaire is a Russian.

Roman Abramovich who has been the owner of Chelsea since 2003 made it clear that he wants to sell the Stamford Bridge club for someone or people who would continue his policy.

According to the report on Daily Mail and Telegraph, Nick Candy is a Chelsea fan and would be glad to secure the ownership of the Blues.

Who is Nick Candy?

Nick Candy and his younger brother Christian are British luxury-property developers, estimated to share a joint net worth of £1.5billion.

The pair bought their first property in 1995, a one-bed flat in Earl’s Court, London. They sold it for a £50,000 profit 18 months later.

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Roman Abramovich's 19-year era as Chelsea owner is close to coming to an end after the Russian billionaire decided to sell the club.

Roman Abramovich is looking to cut ties with the west London club over fears the UK government could sanction him after Russia invaded Ukraine.

The 55-year-old bought the Blues back in 2003 and has since managed to make the club a formidable team in England.

It was during his tenure the Stamford Bridge-based side was able to establish itself as a force to reckon with both domestically and in the continent.
