Thomas Tuchel who is in charge of Chelsea has urged his wards to improve their game and style of play so as to catch up with Liverpool on the Premier League table.

The 48-year-old German made this clear after his wards' win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League in which Hakim Ziyech scored the winner for the Blues on Saturday, 19 February.

According to the report on Complete Sports and Daily Post, Thomas Tuchel explained that with right mentality, his players can still catch Liverpool on the Premier League table.

Thomas Tuchel's statement about Premier League table

“They [Liverpool] look very strong. It’s what it is. They have a huge player in the winter to make their squad stronger and it’s how it is.
“I will not give in and tell you today that it’s not possible to catch them. We will, but there is no other way than to improve our game, improve our style, and to win game after game after game.''

Lukaku Sets Unwanted Record During Chelsea's Hard-Fought Win Over Crystal Palace

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Romelu Lukaku had a performance to forget vs Crystal Palace as he set an unwanted record.

Fresh from his FIFA Club World Cup heroics where he scored in both of the club's matches, the Belgian was drafted in the starting XI against Palace to lead the goal hunt.

However, the forward failed to replicate that form as he staged a woeful performance that left fans unimpressed.

The former Man United striker could manage just seven touches through the Saturday, February 19, encounter.

Incredibly, the Belgium international could manage just two touches in the first half – with the other five in the second half.
