Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic has given the go-ahead to Thomas Tuchel to sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland in the summer, Daily Mail reports.
The 20-year-old has been in fascinating form for the Yellow Canaries since his January 2020 move from Red Bull Salzburg.
According to German news media outlet Bild, the Russian billionaire has thrown his weight behind former Dortmund boss to sign the £107million rated forward.
Haaland has been linked with a number of clubs and his agent recently stated that only ten teams can be able to afford his client when the summer window opens.
"Only a maximum of 10 clubs can afford to buy Haaland and give him the same platform as Dortmund."
But sporting director Michel Zorc responded:
"It is obvious to everyone that Erling will not switch to every club after his time at BVB.
"I don't even get to 10. We are happy that we have Erling here and continue planning with him."
The Norwegian striker has scored 26 goals so far this season and a remarkable 17 in 17 Bundesliga games.
And he is currently the highest goalscorer in this season's Champions League competition with eight goals.
Manchester United and understood to be monitoring Haaland's situation and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Thomas Tuchel has heaped praises on Chelsea striker Olivier for remaining relevant at the highest level of the game despite being a 34-year-old, Sky Sports.
The France international scored a spectacular over-head kick that gave Chelsea the win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last 16 first leg.
The goal took a few minutes before it stood as legitimate after a long look at the VAR for suspicion of an offside.
