Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich, are reportedly interested in the signing of Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen.
Bayern are said to be keen to find a replacement for Germany international Niklas Sule who has rejected an offer to extend his deal with the Bavarians.
Goal now reports Sule will depart the German club at the end of the season when his contract expires.
According to the publication, the German is flirting with a possible move to the Premier League and the La Liga and he is free to enter talks with potential suitors this month before leaving for free in the summer.
Newcastle and Chelsea are among the EPL clubs believed to have sounded out Sule but will have to contend with competition from Barcelona who are also understood to be keen on signing the centre-back.
Reports now suggest Bayern are looking to replace Sule with Christensen, who can also make a free transfer in the summer when his deal at Stamford Bridge elapses.
Chelsea have been trying to tie Christensen to an extension but talks have since stalled.
A new four-year deal for the Dane looked imminent last year but nothing has since been agreed.
