Ghana defender Tariq Lamptey has returned to training at Brighton and Hove Albion following the Black Stars' World Cup elimination.
The former England youth international rejoined his teammates this week for preparations ahead of the return of the English Premier League.

In photos shared on social media, Lamptey is seen going through drills as he works on his fitness.
Lamptey featured in two matches for the Black Stars in Qatar as the four-time African champions failed to progress beyond the group stage.

He was a second half substitute in the opening group game against Portugal before starting against South Korea in the second match.
He was an unused substitute in the final group game against Uruguay.
What Lamptey said after the World Cup:
I thank God for this moment and the opportunity we have been given, we would have liked things to have turned out differently, but God's timing is best. We’ll use this as more motivation and work even harder.

Lamptey happy with Ghana switch
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Brighton and Hove Albion defender Tariq Lamptey has revealed how proud he is to join Ghana's Black Stars for the upcoming friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua this week.
The former England youth international switched nationalities to represent the West African nation in June.
And in his first interview with the Ghana Football Association media, Lamptey expressed delight after receiving a warm reception from his new international teammates.
Partey resumes Arsenal training
Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey has rejoined his Arsenal teammates for mid-season training, ahead of the return of the English Premier League.
The 29-year-old made a short trip to Dubai following Ghana's World Cup elimination, where the North London club are preparing ahead of the resumption of the league.
Partey had a tough tournament as the Black Stars suffered a first-round exit.
