Dortmund could face Bayern Munich

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund could face Bundesliga rivals, Bayern Munich or RB Leipzig in the DFB Pokal quarter-finals when the draws are conducted, Goal reports.

Other teams also through to the German Cup quarter-finals include Stuttgart, Nurnberg, Union Berlin, Eintracht Frankfurt and Freiburg.

Only Bayern Munich (20) and Werder Bremen (six) have won the DFB Cup more often than Dortmund (five). Their most recent title came in 2021 under Edin Terzic.

Dortmund eager to sell Can

Sports Brief also reported on Can possibly being sold by his club, with the German side are ready to sell the former Liverpool man due to his 'irritating behaviour'.

The midfielder is said to regularly lecture his teammates and was also guilty of interrupting former manager, Marco Rose during a team talk during last season.

Dortmund's Sporting Director, Sebastian Kehl and coach, Edin Terzić are both said to be tired of the player and frustrated by his tendency to annoy others.
