Germany Youngster Pens New Deal With Borussia Dortmund, Shuns Interest From Chelsea, Barcelona

Youssoufa Moukoko has shunned the interests of European super clubs after penning a contract extension with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
The Germany international’s current Dortmund contract was set to expire at the end of the season, prompting top clubs like Barcelona and Chelsea to indicate interest in snapping the youngster.

According to Goal, Moukoko has now decided to extend his deal with Dortmund until 2026, stating he knows he will develop perfectly with the Bundesliga club.

“I played in the youth teams, took my first steps in professional football here and now I'm ready to take the next step in my development together with the club.”
Moukoko has been in fine form this season for Borussia Dortmund, having registered eight goals in 14 appearances in the Bundesliga.
No “Barca clause” in new Moukoko deal
Meanwhile, Barcelona will find it extremely difficult to sign Youssoufa Moukoko in the future as it has been revealed that no “Barca clause” was included in his new deal, Football Espana reports.
The La Liga giants would have been able to sign the 18-year-old forward for a cut-price deal if the special clause had been inserted in his new Dortmund contract.
Barcelona would now need to pay full price if they intend to sign Moukoko from the Bundesliga giants before the expiration of his new contract.
Dortmund issues Youssoufa Moukoko ultimatum
Earlier, Sports Brief reported Borussia Dortmund has issued an ultimatum to young striker, Youssoufa Moukoko after he was allegedly caught in an age-cheating scandal.
The Cameroonian-born German attacker was the subject of transfer interest from Spanish giants, Barcelona and Premier League rivals, Newcastle and Chelsea.
However, the interest has reportedly cooled off after the clubs learned about the suspected reduction in his age.
