As noted by TalkSport, one Liverpool supporter got Bellingham smiling, when he asked the Dortmund star to sign a Trent Alexander-Arnold book.

Bellingham is currently in Spain with his Black and Yellow teammates, preparing for the resumption of the Bundesliga season.

He took time out of training to sign an autograph, but couldn't help but grin when he saw what he was putting his mark on.

Madrid fan's message to Bellingham

A Los Blancos supporter also tried his luck during the World Cup in Qatar. The unidentified fan approached the England squad and tried to pitch why Madrid was a better option.

In the video, shared by Sky Sports, Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson can be seen trying to shoot down the fan's request.

Bellingham holds talks with Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund invited Bellingham and his representative to a meeting this week, to clarify the England midfielder’s intentions ahead of the summer.

The 19-year-old has been highly sought after by two of Europe’s most prestigious clubs, as Real Madrid and Liverpool are reportedly going head-to-head for his signature.

Dortmund will respect Bellingham's wish to leave, but the Bundesliga club have placed a minimum transfer fee of £88-million on him plus £35mil in add-ons, Sports Brief reported.

Liverpool make Dortmund star priority

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Liverpool not relenting in a bid to strengthen their squad, with the Reds now focused on landing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Bellingham.

The Merseysiders are one of the top clubs pushing to sign the 19-year-old from the Bundesliga giants, and previously hijacked Manchester United’s deal for Dutch midfielder, Cody Gakpo.

Bellingham could leave Germany for a cut-price deal, with it believed that his contract at Dortmund contains an unconfirmed £60-million release clause.
