When last did Haller play?

As noted by the Bundesliga, Haller signed for Dortmund in July 2022 and didn't play a professional game for the side before taking ill.

Tests then revealed that he had a testicular tumour.

Haller undergoes chemotherapy

The former Ajax Amsterdam man then underwent chemotherapy to treat the malignant tumour.

As reported by TalkSport, Haller then returned to light training at Ajax, as he sought to get match-fit again. Unfortunately for the player, he would still have to undergo surgery.

In November 2022, Haller announced surgeons would have to remove the tumour, The Guardian reported. He said at the time that it was the only way to permanently end that which was keeping him away from the pitch.

With the operation proving to be a success, Haller is finally on the road to a return for the Black and Yellow.
