Erling Haaland struggles with injuries seem not to be ending anytime soon as the Norwegian striker is set to be out for a few more weeks.

The Borussia Dortmund striker has missed a total of 16 games for the Bundesliga club culminating in a 90-day absence off the field.

According to a report via Spanish news outlet Marca, Haaland won't be back until April as he suffered new pain while practicing sprints and shooting ahead of that last Europa League match against Rangers.

The 21-year old striker has been dealing with a muscular issue since the end of January and is now expected to make a return in early April.

Borussia Dortmund has seen their title ambitions dwindle due to Haaland's absence as Marco Rose's team are presently 8 points behind league leaders Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern Munich has shown interest in signing Erling Haaland from rivals Borussia Dortmund.

According to a report via 90min, Bayern Munich striker, Lewandowski has stated recently that he is open to anything regarding his future plans speculating he might be leaving the Bavarians.

With the Poland striker leaving that opens the gates for Erling Haaland to emulate the footsteps of Lewandowski who left Borussia Dortmund for Bayern Munich.
