Most Bundesliga wins

The Bayern Munich keeper boasts the record for being the player with the most wins in the history of the Bundesliga. Neuer secured the record last year when he surpassed Oliver Khan’s mark of 310. Neuer has now stretched his total to 322 wins, and he’s not done yet.

Most Bundesliga clean sheets

Khan’s record for the most wins in the German league isn’t the only achievement that Neuer has surpassed. The Bayern shot stopper also beat Khan’s record for most Bundesliga clean sheets. Neuer is currently number one in the history books with 218.

He also holds the record for most clean sheets in a single season, managing to keep the opposition out in 21 out of 34 games.

Most successful Bundesliga keeper

Neuer has a habit of winning the Bundesliga title, and no goalkeeper has won it more. Currently, he’s won the league 10 times and will be looking to add an 11th title this season if Bayern overcome the threat that Borussia Dortmund pose.

A serial winner

It isn’t just the league title that Neuer loves winning. The German national has won a host of trophies for club and country.

He was also voted as the World’s Best Goalkeeper five times, as noted by Transfermarkt.

Germany’s most-capped goalkeeper

Neuer isn’t just a stalwart of the Bayern Munich team, he’s also a mainstay of the German national team. Neuer made his debut in 2009 and has since racked up 117 appearances for the national team, making him the country's most-capped goalkeeper.

He is also the sixth most-capped German player in history and is only four games behind Thomas Müller and Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Neuer is currently injured and will miss the rest of the season, but the German legend is expected to expand on his record-setting ways once he returns to action next season.

Neuer breaks leg during holiday

Previously Sports Brief reported that Bayern Munich will be without Manuel Neuer for the rest of the season.

The iconic goalkeeper broke his leg while skiing, while on holiday.

The incident took place after Germany were dumped out of the World Cup, and Neuer had taken a holiday to recover from the shock performance.
