What did Ribery see?

“It would have been good to see Mbappé at Bayern Munich. But that’s life. There is never a guarantee of signing a player,” the former French international said.

Who Bayern Munich should sign

The Bayern legend has now urged his former side to turn their attention to another young French forward, Randal Kolo Muani. The Eintracht Frankfurt forward has enjoyed an impressive start to his first season in German football.

Kolo Muani’s debut season

As noted by Transfermarkt, Kolo Muani has played 33 games for the Bundesliga side, scoring 16 goals and notching up 14 assists.

“Kolo Muani has character. What he’s doing at Frankfurt is great. He is young and has potential, so the answer is clear. Bayern have always signed young players with high potential,” said Ribery.

Ribery retires from professional football

It’s the end of an era.

After 19 years as a professional footballer, former Bayer Munich winger and French international Franck Ribéry has announced his football retirement.

The 39-year-old was playing his football with Serie A side US Salernitana 1919 but terminated his contract after picking up a knee injury, Sports Brief reported.

Kolo-Muani reflects on World Cup

France forward Randal Kolo Muani admits he is having sleepless nights over his miss in the dying embers of the 2022 World Cup final.

The 2018 World Champions locked horns against South American champions Argentina in the final of the 2022 tournament in Qatar, Sports Brief reported.

Muani, who was brought on in the first half as Lionel Messi and his teammates dominated, had the glorious opportunity to win the match for Didier Deschamps' side.
