As noted by Bulinews, Jamal Musiala has tested positive for Covid-19. The youngster is said to be doing well and is currently isolating at home.

He is set to miss out on Bayern’s upcoming Champions League game against Viktoria Plzen. Bayern currently top the group with three wins out of three. Musiala's enforced absence will be a big blow for the team, as he has been in incredible form for the side this season.

Bayern have been plagued by Covid-19 induced absences of late. ESPN reported that Thomas Müller and Joshua Kimmich were recently in isolation after testing positive.

The duo missed the game against Borussia Dortmund as a result. Prior to that, Leon Goretzka and Manuel Neuer were also out of action due to positive Covid-19 cases. Other teams in the Bundesliga have also been affected by Covid cases.
