Sadio Mané appears to have completely banished his demons after a recent mini-goal-scoring drought.

Mané finally got off the mark in the UEFA Champions League for Bayern Munich when the Bavarians dismantled Czech Republic side Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday night.

The former Liverpool forward had a dip in form prior to the international break, however, he appears to have rediscovered his mojo, scoring in two successive games across all competitions.

He reenacted a signature Ronaldinho-esque solo goal when he put the tie out of the reach of Plzen after he netted Bayern's third goal after just 21 minutes.

The jaw-dropping goal was his maiden strike in Europe's premier club competition in the shirt of Bayern Munich as the Bundesliga side maintained their perfect start to this season's tournament.

A brace from Leroy Sane and solitary strikes from Serge Gnabry and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting added Sadio Mané s goal as Bayern Munich set a record for the longest unbeaten run in the Champions League group stages.

Mane's goal makes him the fourth African player to score 25 goals in the history of the Champions League, reports Pulse.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Sadio Mané has lifted the lid on his recent dip in form at Bayern Munich.

Mané brought his six-year spell with Liverpool to a sudden end this summer when he penned a three-year deal with Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern.

The 30-year-old Senegal international initially had a fairytale start to life with the Bavarians, scoring in each of his opening four games for Die Roten, however, his form recently hit a nosedive.
