Sadio Mané has lifted the lid on his recent dip in form at Bayern Munich.

Mané brought his six-year spell with Liverpool to a sudden end this summer when he penned a three-year deal with Bundesliga heavyweights Bayern.

The 30-year-old Senegal international initially had a fairytale start to life with the Bavarians, scoring in each of his opening four games for Die Roten, however, his form recently hit a nosedive.

But after notching a goal during the international break, Sadio continued in the same fashion to end his mini-goal-scoring drought when he grabbed a goal as Bayern whitewashed Leverkusen over the weekend.

Speaking to UEFA.com, Mané accepted that adapting to the culture of his new club is “not easy,” but stressed that he is “very happy.”

“It is going well. Switching from one club to another is not easy,” he explained.
“I spent eight very nice years in England, six years at Liverpool [after] two at Southampton, and now I am in a new country.
“It is not easy because everything changes so suddenly: people, training, everything. Everything is changing so it is not easy at all.
“I need to adapt. I knew that and it came as no surprise. It is happening just the way I imagined it.
“People here are welcoming, and they’re real players. People around the club are amazing so I am very happy.”

Bayern chief backs Sadio Mane to rediscover his form after a slow start to life in Germany

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Bayern Munich Sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic is not feeling too bothered about Sadio Mane’s dip in form for the Bundesliga champions in his last few matches.

Mane has struggled to score in his last 6 matches in all competitions for Bayern Munich, as the Senegalese struggles to find his balance in the Bundesliga.

According to Daily Mail, Salihamidzic believes it is only a matter of time before Sadio Mane finds his best form for the German side.
