Footage has resurfaced online of former Bayern Munich captain, Michael Ballack engrossed in a Chelsea game, snubbing half-naked women dancing at a night club.

Ballack, who called time on his football career in October 2012, was out at an Ibiza nightclub with a few of his friends, who were looking on at the women parading themselves on stage.

Despite the fun-filled action on the stage, the 46-year-old ex-German international looked completely disinterested in what transpiring at the night, which had caught the attention of the audience gathered.

Rather, he was fully engrossed in the action on his phone, where he was watching the 2021 Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester City that was going on at the same time.

The ex-Bayern midfielder was rooting for Chelsea, a club Ballack played for between 2006 and 2010, at the expense of witnessing the women on parade.

In a video posted on Twitter, seen by Sports Brief, the former Germany captain did not look up once as the two dancers strutted around in skimpy outfits to Beyonce’s Run The World, even appearing to comment on the game to a friend beside him.

His support would not go in vain as his compatriot, Kai Havertz's solitary strike was more than enough for Chelsea to clinch their second Champions League trophy.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that former Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Ballack says a remarkable title win for Union Berlin is not out of the question.

Speaking in an interview with Germany's Sport Bild magazine, Ballack reflected on his experience with Kaiserslautern in 1997-98, who won the Bundesliga title the year they were promoted to the top division.

"Dreaming is allowed. Why not?" said Ballack, who played for Kaiserlautern before joining Bayern and later moving to Bayer Leverkusen and Chelsea.
