Matthaus, who is Germany’s most capped player, is of the opinion that Musiala would cost a minimum of €150m if Bayern Munich were to decide to sell the forward Bulinews reports.

"Musiala is the future of the club, and also an incredibly popular figure. Musiala makes the difference and is scoring more goals.
"If someone wanted to buy him now, the transfer fee would be close to €150 million. That's not an issue anyway, because he's certainly not for sale."

Musiala still has at least 3 more years to spend at the Allianz Arena as his contract with Bayern Munich runs until the summer of 2026.

Musiala tops the list of contenders for 2022 Golden Boy Award

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Bayern Munich has three of its youngsters nominated for the 2022 edition of the prestigious Golden Boy award, which is given to the best footballer under the age of 21 years.

The list, which comprises 60 nominees, is selected by journalists from a variety of publications across Europe and was published in the Italian news outlet Tuttosport.

Jamal Musiala, Ryan Gravenberch, and Mathys Tel have all been shortlisted for the award, which was last won by Barcelona’s star midfielder, Pedri, in 2021.
