Robert Lewandowski’s departure from Bayern Munich has got some of the German club’s supporters upset with the Polish forward.

The 33-year-old striker was officially unveiled by Barcelona on Wednesday, July 20 after penning a 4-year deal with the Spanish La Liga side in a deal worth €45million plus €5m in add-ons.

According to the Daily Star, German TV pundit, and model, Vanessa Huppenkothen has now slammed Lewandowski on social media saying the forward is ungrateful to Bayern Munich.

"Bayern gave everything for him... sometimes we are very ungrateful. Nobody is essential! NOBODY, if you want to go, go!"

Barcelona sell out Lewandowski shirts

Meanwhile, Barcelona is already profiting from the signing of Robert Lewandowski as the Catalan club has sold out the Polish striker’s jerseys just under a day after making an official announcement.

According to Goal, the store at the premises of Camp Nou has run out of stock because they have run out of the letter W to put on their strips for fans.

Lewandowski has since joined his Barcelona teammates in the USA and is expected to make his debut for the La Liga giants when they take on Real Madrid in a preseason friendly on Sunday, July 24.

Bayern boss Nagelsmann says Barcelona transfer activity as crazy

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Julian Nagelsmann said it is "crazy" that Barcelona has been able to make multiple signings in the transfer window, including Robert Lewandowski from the Bundesliga champions.

Barcelona has struggled financially in recent seasons but was able to seal the signature of two-time FIFA player of the year Lewandowski in a $46 million deal.

The Catalan giants also signed Brazilian winger Raphinha from Leeds and have brought centre-back Andreas Christensen and former AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.
