Bayern Munich will not be bringing in Harry Kane or Cristiano Ronaldo.

Both superstars have been linked with a move to the German giants following the departure of Robert Lewandowski.

Bayern CEO, Oliver Kahn, has not opened up about the rumours and shared just why it was not to be, Bulinews reported.

"Kane is under contract with Tottenham and he's an absolute top striker. But that's all pie in the sky," Kahn said.

He then touched on wantaway Manchester star, Cristiano, describing him as a fantastic player. He added that it may not be the best idea for the club and the Bundesliga if Bayern went and signed the Portuguese superstar.

“Every club has a certain philosophy and such a move doesn't necessarily fit in with the ideas we have here at FC Bayern," Kahn added.

Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann has also opened up on rumours that the club were interested in Ronaldo, the Express reported.

The Bayern coach insisted that he does not need Ronaldo at the club.

Bayern will be looking to bring in a proven goalscorer, though, after Lewandowski’s departure. The Polish striker scored 35 goals in the Bundesliga last season and 41 goals in the season before that.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s options continue to grow thinner as the days go by, and it is looking more likely that he will be at Manchester United for the upcoming season.
