Sadio Mane Breaks Silence on Joining German Giants Bayern Munich

Sadio Mané has shed light on his move to reigning German champions Bayern Munich.
The 30-year-old arrived in Munich yesterday ahead of his proposed move to the Bavarian giants after spending six successful seasons with Liverpool.
Although his deal with the six-time European champions is yet to be officially announced, Mané has gone through the mandatory medicals. The Senegalese is expected to sign a contract until 2025.
Here is what he told the German news outlet the Bild: "When my agent first told me about Bayern's interest, I was immediately excited. I saw myself there right away. For me, it was the right club at the right time."
"It's one of the biggest clubs in the world and the team is always fighting for every title. So for me, it was a very good idea and the right decision to come here.
"My agent told me that there were enquiries from other clubs. That's part of the business. But I got the feeling right away when Bayern presented their plan to me. I found myself in Bayern's plan more than anyone else.
"Every kid wants to win the Champions League, every football player in the world. I'm with a very, very competitive team now.
"I'm here for FC Bayern. And I will do everything to win titles with my teammates!"
Mané arrives in Munich for Bayern move
Sadio Mané has arrived in Munich ahead of the mega move to German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
The 30-year-old is set for his medical before signing a three-year deal to join the Bavarians from English outfit Liverpool.
In a video posted on Twitter, the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations winner, was spotted descending from an aeroplane as he makes his way to the club's offices.
Mané transforms village in Senegal with his generosity
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that impressive Liverpool star Sadio Mane is said to have transformed his childhood village Bambali in the northern region of Senegal with a number of incredible gestures.
The 30-year-old, who is closing in on a move to German side Bayern Munich returned to his country to feature in a charity match alongside the likes of Papiss Cisse and El Hadji Diouf.
SPORTbible reports that Mane has maintained constant interaction with the 2000 residents that live in that area and has made significant donations to help improve the conditions of living there.
