But according to Skysports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich have won the race for his signature after forking out an astronomical €300k for his services.

Touted as an "exceptional talent" in his age group in Germany, Wisdom possesses great dribbling skills and a wonderful electrifying pace.

Bayern's scout team have been monitoring the progress of Wisdom for close to two years and are impressed with his enormous qualities.

Mike Wisdom is expected to play instrumental role with the Bayern Munich's U15 side from next season.

Borussia Monchengladbach sporting Director Roland Virkus, however, is unimpressed by the Wisdom's move to Bayern Munich.

In an interview with Rheinische Post, as quoted by Sporf, Virkus said:

“Such deals are anything but beneficial for German youth football. I think it’s tasteless!
“We offered him a place at boarding school to minimise travel times.”
