Barcelona vs Getafe

On April 16, Barcelona will travel to the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez for a clash against Getafe. Xavi’s side won the reverse fixture 1-0. Pedri scored the only goal in that game, but it could have gone either way.

Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid

On April 23, Barca face their most formidable challenge from their remaining fixtures as they host Diego Simeone’s men. The reverse fixture ended 1-0 in favour of La Blaugrana, and the upcoming fixture could be equally tough.

Barcelona vs Rayo Vallecano

Three days after the fixture against Atletico, Barca will travel to Estadio de Vallecas. Vallecano and Barcelona contested the first fixture of the 2022/23 season, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

With Real Madrid realistically still in with a chance of catching the Catalan side, Barcelona will be hoping not to drop any more points.

Barcelona vs Real Betis

At the end of April, Barcelona welcomes Betis to Camp Nou. Betis are one of the few teams that managed to breach the Catalans' defence, but they still lost 2-1 on that occasion.

Barcelona vs Osasuna

Barcelona kicks off the month of May with a visit from Osasuna. They won the reverse fixture away from home 2-1 and will be expected to win this fixture as well.

Barcelona were on course to also face Osasuna in the final of the Copa del Rey but were dumped out by Real Madrid in the semi-final.

Barcelona vs Espanyol

On May 14, Barcelona travel to face their city rivals, Espanyol. The other Catalan club held La Blaugrana to a 1-1 draw in the previous fixture and could pose a challenge to Xavi’s side.

Barcelona could win the league title with a win against Espanyol, provided they picked up maximum points in the fixtures before the clash with their Catalan rivals. Even if Madrid win their remaining 10 games, it won't stop Xavi's men from claiming the title.

Barcelona vs Real Sociedad

Barca hopes to be crowned league champions before the game against Sociedad. The Catalan side won the reverse fixture against Sociedad 4-1 and will be favourites to do the same again.

Sociedad are chasing a place in Europe next season and also have a lot to play for.

Barcelona vs Real Valladolid

Three days after their game against Sociedad, Barcelona take on Valladolid.

Valladolid are currently just above the relegation zone and could be fighting for survival still when they take on Xavi’s side. As noted by The Athletic, Barcelona won the reverse fixture 4-0.

Barcelona vs Real Mallorca

Their final game in May will see Barcelona take on Mallorca at Spotify Camp Nou.

Xavi’s side won the previous fixture 1-0 and will look to do the same, or better when they take them on at home. Polish striker Robert Lewandowski grabbed the only goal of that game.

Barcelona vs Celta Vigo

Barcelona’s only fixture in June sees them travel to take on Celta Vigo. Xavi’s side will be hoping to be crowned league champions at that stage and not have to deal with a nervy final game of the season. Barcelona won the previous meeting between the two sides 1-0.

Barca move 12 points clear

Barcelona are closing in on winning their 27th La Liga title with an El Clasico win, Sports Brief also reported.

La Blaugrana grabbed a 2-1 win over rivals Real Madrid to move 12 points clear at the top of La Liga standings.

The victory dents Madrid's ambitions of retaining the title and leaves the Catalans close to lifting the trophy.
